lame new born calfs in Uruguay

Our good friend Roberto  Acuna  has got the following case:

30 calfs in the same herd suffer a problem always at right hind limb with a failure of extensor tendon, permanent flexion with secondary trauma and infection.

Any sugestion?

can some complimentary information be relevant?

    Couple of questions? What age are these calves and have they been giving any intramuscular shots in the right rear leg (vaccine, antibiotics) at any point.
    How do they walk, do they drag on dorsal wall and is there hock dropped?.
    From pictures I wonder if its sciatic or peroneal nerve damage due injection in RH gluteal muscles.
