Feet problems in Mexico

This is a case sent by Mario Rodríguez DVM . He describes a problem found in some Dairy farms in Jalisco México.
Cows that had no previous feet pathology,they start with a coronary band swelling and from one day to other they lose the hole claw at the third phalanx level as you can see at the pictures
Most of the cases are second lactación cows with different days in milk. Mario suspects in fluor poisoning, Any sugestion?

lame new born calfs in Uruguay

Our good friend Roberto Acuna has got the following case:

30 calfs in the same herd suffer a problem always at right hind limb with a failure of extensor tendon, permanent flexion with secondary trauma and infection.

Any sugestion?

can some complimentary information be relevant?

Foot rot?

This is an odd case involving a cow:

First, the cow had Fool (Foot rot), was treated and healed. But few days after that the leg got inflammed with huge pain.

As you may see in the pics, when Miguel put a needle a semitransparent (nearly yellow) liquid appears with pressure without detectable smell. After that, swelling and pain decrease.

Question: Could it be an antibiotic accumulation? Or maybe a leak of synovial fluid?

Dominique Bernier sent to us those pictures taken in Morocco, the cow was one year lame! and they had to remove 10 cm of horn to find the origin, in the socnd picture we can see a granulation tissue, my question Dominique is. did the cow healed?

Merci pour ta vidéo j’ai laissé un petit commentaire, mais je ne connais absolument pas cette forme de boiterie. Un de mes gars a coincé hier un nerf radial, et ca au moins c’est facile a diagnostiquer.
Je te joins cette photo faite en juin dernier au Maroc dans la ferme d’un vétérinaire…..et à mon tour je te laisse faire un commentaire, cela sentait mauvais, était très douloureux, et était dans le pied depuis plus d’un an, il a fallu couper 8/10 cm de corne de longueur avant de découvrir la cause dans cette corne toute nécrosée ;

White line healing after bandage

Dear Adrian,

I send you these 2 pictures of the same case of the movie in the blog. Ask Miguel Angel if he’s got also pictures of that clinical case.

In that case only 1 bandage was done and removed after 8 days.
